Quality

The naturally lustrous Kurk wool absorbs dye with uncommon depth, lending the navy a shadow-black richness and the red a jewel-like glow that softens only with graceful aging.
Origin & Craftsmanship
Woven on family looms in Balkh, each knot is laid by Turkmen artisans who trace their lineage to the caravans that once threaded the Silk Road. Their practiced hands follow patterns memorized over generations, turning raw wool and cotton into an heirloom that speaks fluently of place, pride, and perseverance. Owning this rug is not simply acquiring décor; it is adopting a living fragment of Afghan history.
